Terms & Conditions
  1. All goods sold strictly COD only.
  2. Faulty goods must be returned to Evolution IT within 7 (seven) days.
  3. If quotation is rejected, a quotation fee of R150 will be charged. (Only if work is done)
  4. All quotes will remain valid for a period of 7 (seven) days, from date of quote. The validity of any price is subject to any increases in the cost price of the company before release of goods.
  5. If the return of goods takes place after 48 (forty-eight) hours from date of invoice, a credit will be passed, provided goods are in the same condition as on purchase date, including all manuals, driver disks, original packaging and original tax invoice. No cash refunds under any circumstances.
  6. No credit will be issued at all if the return is later than 7 (seven) days after the date of purchase.
  7. A 15% (fifteen percent) handing charge will be issued for driver discs returned without their original packaging, original tax invoice, software and manual, whether within the 7 (seven) days or not. No cash refunds.
  8. Before a credit is passed, items will be tested or sent to original suppliers for a details report.
  9. Please back up your data before sending the machines for support. The workshop will not be held liable for any data loss.
  10. A 50% deposit is required with order. Deposits are non-refundable. If order is cancelled, deposit is forfeited.
  11. Components or PC’s ordered will be cancelled after 2 (two) days if not collected.
  12. Back orders that have come into stock will be cancelled 2 (two) days after completion.
  13. Price list or invoice will not be valid without the terms and conditions pages.

  15. Upgrades / repairs not collected within 30 (thirty) working days will be sold to defray costs.
  16. Due to software piracy, no software will be refunded or exchanged.
  17. Price and specifications are subject to change without any prior notice.
Warranties
  1. The warranty is only valid for Evolution IT clients within its warranty period.
  2. New hardware has a 12 (twelve) month carry-in warranty from date of purchase.
  3. The warranty will be void if the serial number or the label is missing.
  4. The warranty will be void if items are written on or tampered with.
  5. Evolution IT will not deliver repaired items.
  6. A 15% (fifteen percent) fee will be charged for goods not being returned with their original packaging, original tax invoice, software and manuals, whether within 30 (thirty) days or not. No cash refunds.
  7. Should the goods be defective within 7 (seven) days of purchase, they will be replaced immediately after being tested by Evolution IT’s qualified technicians, including printers, monitors, speakers, and UPS units.
  8. Evolution IT will replace or repair the items if a performance failure occurs within the warranty period.
  9. Items that can be repaired by evolution IT will not be swopped out. (Swop out does not include: printers, monitors, speakers, and UPS units).
  10. A component will be declared void and out of warranty if goods are damaged due to mishandling negligence, lightning strikes or power surges.
  11. Evolution IT does not accept liability for loss or damage to cables, software, or ink cartridges with booked in goods.
  12. Evolution IT is not liable for any loss of data or theft, which may occur while in the possession of the clients’ hardware.
  13. Any CPU (Processor) that is over clocked will void warranty. WARNING: It can / will be tested.
  14. Supplier Lead – Time for warranty repairs is 2 (twenty-one) working days.
  15. No warranty on consumables, i.e. blank CD’s, cartridges etc.
  16. No warranty on any software, no refund, no swop out, no exchange on any software including Microsoft products.
  17. Evolution IT will not take responsibility to pay out anything for any loss whatsoever.
